INFO
This tranquil tour will have you traveling through Mount Lebanon, experiencing some of the most peaceful surroundings nature has to offer. We begin this journey at the small village of Afqa, located within the Jbeil District of Mount Lebanon, it is home to one of the most breath-taking waterfalls of the Afqa region. The Afqa waterfall is an absolute site to behold as it is the source of the Adonis river, known today as Abraham River or Nahr Ibrahim in Arabic. We then venture onwards to the small mountainous village of Laklouk. As like Afaq, Laklouk is a mountainous village, therefore the views at this location are absolutely captivating. With its sprawling agricultural lakes, spectacular landscapes, and sceneries that overlook neighbouring villages, Laklouk is certainly a place to stop and embrace your surroundings. The final destination is Baatara Gorge, the Baatara gorge is truly one of natures glorious creations. The Baatara gorge is a sinkhole with three natural bridges and a waterfall flowing down into the bottom of the Baatara Pothole, it is truly a scene of great natural beauty.
